WINK !04 is sponsoring the Hybrid Epilepsy Awareness Walk
on Saturday August 7 at FNB Field (City Island)
Join Denny Logan and others in this walk to benefit the
Epilepsy Association of Western and Central Pennsylvania (EAWCP)
Registration begins at 8am!
Proceeds from the event will stay in the local area so to help provide programs, services, education, emergency medication assistance, respite care services, seizure response dogs, and advocacy to the more than 50,000 adults and children with epilepsy/seizure disorders in the region.
EAWCP endeavors to improve the quality of life for persons with epilepsy/seizure disorders and to dispel the myths, stigmas, and misunderstandings associated with it. With offices in Pittsburgh and Camp Hill, its nationally-recognized services include public education, information, referral, advocacy, summer camp, community education events, seminars, and workshops.
